Mr. Alan F. Estevez is the Under Secretary of Commerce for Industry and Security. He leads the Bureau of Industry and Security (BIS), which advances U.S. national security, foreign policy, and economic objectives by ensuring an effective export control and treaty compliance system and promoting U.S. strategic technology leadership. U/S Estevez had a notable 36-year career at the Department of Defense.

Under Secretary Estevez will discuss his perspective on the logistics challenges facing the U.S. and the way forward. U/S Estevez was recently featured in the April issue of the National Defense magazine (see below for link), where he discussed the need for leaders from the military and industry to think and move faster, and integrate more.
